It kicks-off on the day following Black Friday, known as “Small Business Saturday” on Saturday, November 27, 2021. VIEDA Governing Board Decision Meeting set for November 23

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – November 19, 2021 — On Tuesday, November 23, 2021 beginning at 9AM AST, the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) Board of Directors will meet for a Governing Board Decision Meeting for the VIEDA, the VI Economic Development Commission, Economic Development Bank and the V.I. Economic Development Park Corporation on applications, client compliance and other matters.

Economic Development Commission (VIEDC), and a Governing Board Decision Meeting for the VIEDC and the Economic Development Park Corporation on applications, client compliance and other matters.

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – October 25, 2021 — On Thursday, October 28, 2021 beginning at 9AM AST, the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) Board of Directors will meet for a Governing Board Decision Meeting for the V.I. Economic Development Commission (VIEDC) and the Economic Development Bank (EDB) on applications or client compliance matters. These matters pertain to business tax incentives or loan applications.

The VIEDC and the EDB are two of four entities under the VIEDA.

Young CEO Camp encourages enthusiastic, entrepreneurial outlook among USVI youth

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U. S. Virgin Islands – October 15, 2021 – The world of technology continued to be wide open with opportunities for more than 30 young people ages 11-18, their parents and guardians as they participated in the 2021 virtual Young CEO Camp with instructor and Small Business Camp President Andrew Morrison. This two-day camp, hosted by the V.I. Economic Development Authority’s Business Incubator Program - in partnership with Mr. Morrison - was held on Saturday, October 9th and Sunday, October 10th from 9AM to 3PM.

Children, teens to gain lessons in entrepreneurship with virtual Young CEO Camp on October 9th through 10th

– October 7, 2021 -- The Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority’s (VIEDA) Business Incubator Program invites parents, guardians and young people ages 11 through 18 to register for a Young CEO Camp led camp presenter and Small Business Camp President Andrew Morrison.  This Young CEO Camp will be held virtually, via Zoom.com, on Saturday, October 9th and Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 9AM to 3PM.
