VIEDA's Economic Development Commission Public Hearing set for February 3

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands –– January 27, 2015 - A public hearing for the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority's (VIEDA) Economic Development Commission will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. in the boardroom of the VIEDA’s office at 8000 Nisky Shopping Center, Suite 620, St. Thomas, USVI; and via video conference feed at the William D. Roebuck Industrial Park, No. 4 Negro Bay, Building No. 2, in Frederiksted, St. Croix, USVI, on applications re: tax exemption benefits from six businesses: Amalie Global, Inc.; Professional Holding Company, LLC; Daily News Publishing Co., Inc.; Diamond Rock Frenchman’s Owner, Inc. d/b/a Frenchman’s Reef and Morning Star Marriott Beach Resort; Secret Harbour Beach Resorts Associates, LLP; and St. Thomas Nursing Home Prime, LP d/b/a Sea View Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.

Any person, firm or corporation that is interested in the approval or disapproval of the applications may appear and be heard provided that a written statement is submitted at least one (1) day prior to the hearing to the Chief Executive Officer of the V.I. Economic Development Authority at No. 116 King St., Frederiksted, St. Croix, USVI 00840; or via facsimile to (340) 773-7701.
