CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – April 12, 2016 – The V.I. Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) announces the following:
Public Hearing: A public hearing for the Economic Development Commission will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 9 a.m. at 8000 Nisky Shopping Center, Suite 620, St. Thomas, USVI; and via video conference feed to the William D. Roebuck Industrial Park at No. 4 Negro Bay, Building No. 2, Frederiksted, St. Croix, USVI, on applications from the following businesses: St. Thomas Tramway, a VI Joint Venture; Auven Therapeutics Management, LLLP; and Perpetual Motion Management, LLC. Any person, firm or corporation interested in the approval or disapproval of the application may appear and be heard provided that a written statement is submitted at least one (1) day prior to the hearing to the Chief Executive Officer of the V.I. Economic Development Authority.
Governing Board Decision Meeting: A decision meeting by the Economic Development Commission will immediately follow the public hearing on applications and/or petitions from Atrium VI, LLC; Carambola Golf Club, LLC; Caribbean Cinema of St. Croix, Inc.; Discover Fund Management, LLLP; and Plessen Healthcare, LLC; and to resolve compliance matters for the following businesses: Flying Fish Group, LLC; St. Thomas Tramway, a VI Joint Venture; and Yacht Haven USVI, LLC. A decision meeting will also be held by the Enterprise Zone Commission on applications and/or matters which may be brought to the appropriate Board for action. The decision meeting will be held at the aforesaid locations of the public hearing. All interested persons are notified in accordance with the law.
The Board of Directors of the VIEDA and its subsidiary Board(s) may go into executive session with respect to any decision at any time during the meeting in accordance with the law. Any person, firm or corporation that is interested in the approval or disapproval of the application may appear and be heard provided that a written statement is submitted at least one (1) day prior to the hearing to the Chief Executive Officer of the V.I.
