CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands - July 8, 2015 - As the official kick-off activity for the three-week Savan (Savanne) Clean-Up and Restore Project, the Enterprise and Commercial Zone Commission (ECZC), an entity of the V.I. Economic Development Authority (VIEDA), will lead a Historic Talk and Walkthrough the neighborhood of Savanne on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 9AM. The ECZC and several V.I. community historians will provide the residents of Savanne and the general public with architectural and historical perspectives of Savanne.

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – July 7, 2015 - To gather ideas that can initiate the development of the Savanne-Downstreet Community Plan, the Enterprise and Commercial Zone Commission (ECZC), an entity of the U.S. Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA), will host a four-day charrette this month from July 13 through July 16, 2015 at 5:30PM each day at Palms Court Harborview Hotel on St. Thomas, USVI. The residents of Savanne and Downstreet, and the general public are invited to participate.

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – July 1, 2015 – The Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) advises the general public that the VIEDA offices in the districts of St. Thomas-St. John and St. Croix will open at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2015 following the VIEDA General Staff Meeting.

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands - June 25, 2015 - To assist young people in discovering methods on how to start and grow a business at an early age, the United States Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) announces that it is partnering with Small Business Camp to present the Young CEO Camp on St. Croix. This five-day summer training program will be held from Monday, July 6, 2015 to Friday, July 10, 2015 from 8:30AM to 4:30PM at the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital & Medical Center in the Cardiac Center Conference Room.

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands - June 25, 2015 - The V.I. Economic Development Authority (VIEDA), along with its subsidiary the Economic Development Commission, will be holding a Governing Board Decision Meeting to resolve compliance matters for the following businesses: Asset Recovery Management Inc; Galtere, Inc.; and Southern Hills Financial, LLLP.

A Governing Board Decision Meeting will also be held by the Economic Development Bank and the Enterprise and Commercial Zone Commission.
