VIEDA, Entrepreneurs Incubator Institute to offer free course on entrepreneurship

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S. Virgin Islands -- St. Thomas, USVI – October 10, 2014 - The V.I. Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) will host a class for aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners that are seeking to learn how to overcome today's challenges in order to succeed in their business. This class titled, "The Dynamics of Entrepreneurship 101", will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the V.I. Small Business Development Center at 4100 Sion Farm Shopping Center, Suite 16, Christiansted, St. Croix, USVI.

Our mission at the VIEDA Small Business Incubator is to provide a critical bridge between existing programs and services to assist entrepreneurs in the areas of professional services, food & agribusiness, tourism and information technology. The primary purpose is to surround new and existing entrepreneurs with the necessary support services to foster sustainable economic growth and to enhance our territory’s entrepreneurial endeavors.

VIEDA small exporters' program to host USVI International Artistry & Business Expo

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands - September 5, 2014 - To promote some of the USVI's best small manufacturers that are interested in exporting their products and services to foreign buyers, the V.I. Economic Development Authority's (VIEDA) State Trade and Export Promotion (STEP) Program will be hosting the 2014 U.S. Virgin Islands International Artistry and Business Expo from September 19-21, 2014 at the Mark C. Marin Center (MCM Center) at Antilles School on St. Thomas. This expo is co-sponsored by the U.S.
