CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U.S. Virgin Islands – April 8, 2021 — A Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority Board of Directors will meet for a VI Economic Development Commission (VIEDC) Public Hearing and a Governing Board Decision Meeting for the VIEDC and the Economic Development Bank (EDB) on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 beginning at 9AM AST.

This webinar titled, "Traditional Marketing Methods", will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 5:30PM to 6:30PM AST.

Christiansted, U.S. Virgin Islands – March 31, 2021 — Reach full employment, adding 1100 net new jobs each year between now and 2030. Increase the population by 10 percent from the 2020 census. Raise the share of locally sourced food from three percent to 35 percent. Generate 75 percent of the Territory’s electricity from renewables, up from one percent today.

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U. S. Virgin Islands – March 29, 2021 – Wayne L. Biggs, Jr., Chief Executive Officer of the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (“VIEDA”), announces that the VIEDA offices in the St. Thomas-St. John and St. Croix districts will temporarily cease remote work operations on March 31, April 1, 2 and 5, 2021, due to the Transfer Day and the Easter holidays, respectively, in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Regular office operations and hours will resume at 8AM on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.
