Economic Development Commission (VIEDC) Public Hearing and a Governing Board Decision Meeting for the VIEDC, VIEDA and the Enterprise Zone Commission (EZC) on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 beginning at 9AM AST.
Christiansted, USVI, June 2, 2021-- The Virgin Islands 20-year economic development plan, officially known as “Vision 2040”, was unveiled to the public on March 30, 2021. Since released, the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) has been diligently working on Vision 2040 in collaboration with public, private, and non-profit partners. Vision 2040 is the most comprehensive economic development plan ever presented in U.S. Virgin Islands history.

The Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority's (VIEDA) Business Incubator Program is inviting entrepreneurs, start-ups, and those interested in starting a business to virtually attend this week's "Wednesday Webinars" titled, "Learn about Business Incubator Program", on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM AST.
The Incubator Program is designed to help new and start-up businesses develop into full-fledged businesses by providing management training and other assistance enabling these businesses to grow and contribute to the economic development of the Territory.

Economic Development Commission (VIEDC) Public Hearing and a Governing Board Decision Meeting for the VIEDC and the Economic Development Bank (EDB) on Thursday, May 13, 2021 beginning at 9AM AST.
At this meeting, the Board of Directors will consider applications and compliance matters submitted to the VIEDC and the EDB. The VIEDC and the EDB are an entities of the VIEDA.
