DRCVI, VIEDA to host "Wednesday Webinars" on Stress and Mental Health during the Pandemic

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, U. S. Virgin Islands – April 13, 2021 -- The Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) - in partnership with the Disability Rights Center of the Virgin Islands (DRCVI) - is inviting the community to virtually attend "Wednesday Webinars" for webinar titled, "Stress and Mental Health during the Pandemic", on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 10:00AM to 10:45AM AST.

This webinar will be held via Zoom - a software-based platform for video and audio communications - and can also be viewed through Facebook livestream at www.facebook.com/usvieda.

There has been an increase in mental health and substance abuse issues as well as general stress and anxiety during the pandemic. These issues affect people’s ability to get a job or keep one. Please join us to learn how you can support your employees who may be dealing with general stress, mental health disabilities or recovery during the pandemic. There are numerous resources for employers to support their employees and even possible funding with COVID-19.
