VIEDA Announces Early Office Closure and Adjusted Holiday Schedule

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U. S. Virgin Islands – December 30, 2025 – The Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) announces an early office closure at 3:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, December 30, 2025, and advises the public of its adjusted office schedule in observance of the upcoming holidays and Crucian Christmas Festival activities across the St. Croix and St. Thomas/St. John Districts.

Adjusted Office Schedule

  • New Year’s Eve – Wednesday, December 31, 2025
  • St. Thomas/St. John District: Open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • St. Croix District: Closed all day
  • New Year’s Day – Thursday, January 1, 2026
  • Offices in both districts closed all day
  • Crucian Christmas Festival Children’s Parade – Friday, January 2, 2026
  • Offices in both districts closed all day
  • Three Kings Day – Tuesday, January 6, 2026
  • Offices in both districts closed all day

Offices in both districts will operate during normal hours on Monday, January 5, 2026, beginning at 8:00 AM.

Following Three Kings Day, normal business hours will resume for both districts on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 8:00 AM.
