VIEDA Governing Board to Hold VIEDC Public Hearing, Decision Meetings on August 27, 2026

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – August 25, 2026 – The Governing Board of the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) will convene on Thursday, August 27, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

The Board will conduct a public hearing for the Virgin Islands Economic Development Commission (VIEDC). Applicant representatives will provide testimony during the hearing.

Members of the public who wish to express support for or opposition to an application or provide comments on any matter scheduled for consideration at the hearing, are invited to participate. Individuals wishing to speak must submit written notice to the Chief Executive Officer at least 24 hours before the hearing, identifying the matter they wish to address and the approximate length of their remarks.

Following the public hearing, the Board will convene a decision meeting to consider matters related to the Economic Development Authority (EDA), the Economic Development Bank (EDB), the Enterprise Zone Commission (EZC), and the Virgin Islands Economic Development Commission.

The Board may enter executive session at any time in accordance with 1 V.I.C. § 254.
