The Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) has launched BizPulse VI: Business Climate Survey to hear directly from our business community. This is an opportunity to share what it’s like operating a business in the U.S. Virgin Islands—what’s working well, what challenges you may be facing, and what changes you believe would make the Territory more business-friendly.
The survey is part of Vision 2040, the U.S. Virgin Islands’ 20-year economic development strategy to build a stronger, more resilient, and more diverse economy. One of Vision 2040’s key recommendations is the creation of a Business Climate Commission (“Commission”), which will include both public and private sector members. The Commission will be tasked with recommending policies to strengthen the Territory’s business climate, fostering the growth and long-term success of business enterprises. The feedback gathered through this survey will help guide the Commission’s actions and recommendations.
