Governor Bryan Announces Administrative Leave for Virgin Islands Carnival

U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – Governor Albert Bryan Jr. has announced the Virgin Islands Carnival 2024 Schedule. On these dates during the Carnival season, government employees will be granted administrative leave, and Virgin Islands Government offices will be closed: 

Wednesday, May 1, 2024: Virgin Islands Carnival 2024 – Food Fair – All non-essential Executive Branch employees on the islands of St. Thomas/St. John will be granted administrative leave from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

Thursday, May 2, 2024: Virgin Islands Carnival 2024 – J’Ouvert – All non-essential Executive Branch employees on the islands of St. Thomas/St. John will be granted administrative leave from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

Friday, May 3, 2024: Children’s Parade – Virgin Islands Carnival 2024 – Children’s Parade – All non-essential Executive Branch employees territory-wide will be granted administrative leave from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
