CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – August 22, 2024 – The Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA), announces that a Public Hearing on new applications from two businesses to participate in the tax incentive program under the Virgin Islands Economic Development Commission will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 beginning at 9AM. Following the public hearing, a Governing Board Decision meeting will also be held for the V.I. Economic Development Commission.
At the public hearing, the Board of Directors will hear presentations – and will consider applications – from representatives of the following businesses: Bloom Analytics, LLLP (St. Croix), and MJB Caribbean Ventures, Inc. dba Hotel 1829 (St. Thomas).
The VIEDA advises the public that the Board of Directors may go into executive session with respect to any decision at any time during the meetings as provided in 1 V.I.C. § 254.
This meeting will be conducted via Zoom, a software-based platform for video and audio communications.
