CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands – July 9, 2024 – The Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority (VIEDA), announces that a Public Hearing on applications from two businesses on St. Thomas to participate in the tax incentive program under the Virgin Islands Economic Development Commission will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 beginning at 9AM.
Following the public hearing, a Governing Board Decision meeting will also be held for the V.I. Economic Development Authority (Sustainable Tourism Through Arts-Based Revenue Streams (STARS) Act Application), Economic Development Commission (tax incentive program application and compliance matters), and the Economic Development Bank.
The VIEDA advises the public that the Board of Directors may go into executive session with respect to any decision at any time during the meetings as provided in 1 V.I.C. § 254.
This meeting will be conducted via Zoom, a software-based platform for video and audio communications.
